Boursin Salmon is a delectable baked dish that marries tender salmon with rich and creamy Boursin cheese, creating a quick and sophisticated meal.
Ingredients
Salmon:
- 1 pound fresh salmon, cut into 4 pieces
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt & pepper to taste
Sauce:
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/2 medium onion, chopped
- 3/4 cup chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 package (5.2 oz/150g) Boursin Fine Herbs & Garlic cheese, softened
- 1–2 tablespoons chopped parsley
Instructions
- Prepare Salmon: Remove salmon from the fridge, cut into 4 pieces, pat dry, and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook Salmon: Heat butter and olive oil in a skillet. Sear salmon for 3-4 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Remove from skillet.
- Make Sauce: Sauté onions until golden. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, and Boursin. Cook until smooth, then stir in parsley.
- Finish Dish: Return salmon to skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes until done. Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot.
