Ingredients
Chicken:
- 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
Orzo:
- 1 cup orzo pasta
Mushrooms:
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
Marsala Wine Sauce:
- 1/2 cup Marsala wine
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Additional:
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Chicken: Season and cook the chicken until golden brown. Set aside.
- Prepare the Mushrooms: Sauté mushrooms, garlic, and thyme in butter.
- Deglaze with Marsala Wine: Add wine and simmer.
