Ingredients
Chicken:
- 2 pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, trimmed
Onions:
- 1 cup sliced onion
Soup Mix:
- 1 ounce onion soup mix
French Onion Soup:
- 10.5 ounces condensed French onion soup
Toppings:
- 1/2 cup fried onions
- 2–3 slices Swiss cheese
Optional:
- Parsley
Instructions
- Prepare Slow Cooker: Lightly spray the slow cooker with non-stick spray.
- Layer Ingredients: Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker, top with sliced onions, onion soup mix, and French onion soup. Mix gently.
- Cook: Cover and cook on HIGH for 3-4 hours or LOW for 4-6 hours.
- Add Toppings: 30 minutes before done, add fried onions and Swiss cheese slices on each chicken breast. Cover and let cheese melt.
- Serve: Sprinkle with parsley and serve over noodles.
