Ingredients
Steak Bites:
- 3 pounds sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 Tablespoons vegetable oil
Au Jus Sauce:
- 1 small sweet onion, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- 1 cup unsalted beef stock
- 1 1 ounce packet au jus gravy mix
- 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter, thinly sliced
Garnish:
- Fresh chopped parsley, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare Steak: Toss cubed steak with salt and pepper in a large bowl.
- Sear Steak: Sear steak pieces in batches in a skillet over medium-high heat. Transfer to slow cooker.
- Add Ingredients: Add onion, garlic, beef stock, au jus mix, and butter to the slow cooker with the steak.
