Ingredients

Chicken Breasts

  • 34 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces

Vegetable Oil & Butter

  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter

The Spice Blend Mix

  • 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder (optional)

Tomato Sauce or Passata

  • 1 cup tomato sauce or passata

Heavy Cream

  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Heat the oil and butter: In a large pan, heat vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Add chicken pieces.
  2. Sauté aromatics: Add garlic and ginger to the pan. Cook until fragrant.
  3. Season with spices: Add garam masala, paprika, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
  4. Add tomato sauce: Pour in tomato sauce, scraping up browned bits.
  5. Simmer: Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. Finish with cream: Stir in heavy cream, simmer for a few more minutes.
  7. Garnish and serve: Garnish with cilantro and serve over rice with naan.
