Ingredients
Chicken Breasts
- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
Vegetable Oil & Butter
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
The Spice Blend Mix
- 1 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon Chili Powder (optional)
Tomato Sauce or Passata
- 1 cup tomato sauce or passata
Heavy Cream
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Heat the oil and butter: In a large pan, heat vegetable oil and 1 tablespoon of butter. Add chicken pieces.
- Sauté aromatics: Add garlic and ginger to the pan. Cook until fragrant.
- Season with spices: Add garam masala, paprika, turmeric, cumin, chili powder, and salt. Stir well.
- Add tomato sauce: Pour in tomato sauce, scraping up browned bits.
- Simmer: Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Finish with cream: Stir in heavy cream, simmer for a few more minutes.
- Garnish and serve: Garnish with cilantro and serve over rice with naan.
