Ingredients

Cookies:

  • 21 ounces canned apple pie filling
  • 15 ounces (1 twin pack) pre-made rolled pie crust
  • ½ teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 4 tablespoons caramel sundae syrup
  • 1 large egg, at room temperature
  • 1 tablespoon water, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons white sparkling sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking sheet.
  2. Dice the apples: Dice the apples in the canned pie filling.
  3. Combine apples and spice: In a small mixing bowl, combine the diced apples and apple pie spice.
  4. Roll out pie crust: Roll out the first pie crust into a 12-inch circle.
  5. Prepare strips: Roll out the second pie crust and cut into strips.
  6. Cut out circles: Use a cookie cutter to cut out 12 circles of pie dough.
