- 8 slices mild provolone cheese

- 4 oz sliced mushrooms
- 1 large yellow onion, chopped
- 1 green bell pepper
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic

- ½ teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
Instructions
- Prepare the Steak: Place the steak in the freezer for 30 minutes, then slice thinly. Season with salt and pepper.
- Prepare the Rolls: Split hoagie rolls and spread garlic butter on the cut sides. Toast until golden brown.
- Saute Onions: Cook onions until caramelized, then set aside.
- Cook the Steak: Sear the steak in a hot skillet, then add onions and provolone cheese.
