Ingredients
Cauliflower:
- 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced

- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
Mushrooms:
- 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Toss cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with 1 tbsp of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
- Roast cauliflower: Spread the cauliflower mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until slightly browned and tender.
- Sauté mushrooms: In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Sauté sliced mushrooms until browned and tender.
- Combine ingredients: Add roasted cauliflower to the skillet with mushrooms. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
- Finish cooking: Cook for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
- Serve: Serve hot as a side dish or over rice as a main course.
