Description

Ingredients

Cauliflower:

  • 1 head cauliflower, cut into florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

Mushrooms:

  • 8 oz mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Toss cauliflower: In a large bowl, toss cauliflower florets with 1 tbsp of olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  3. Roast cauliflower: Spread the cauliflower mixture on a baking sheet in a single layer and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes until slightly browned and tender.
  4. Sauté mushrooms: In a skillet, heat 1 tbsp of olive oil. Sauté sliced mushrooms until browned and tender.
  5. Combine ingredients: Add roasted cauliflower to the skillet with mushrooms. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix well.
  6. Finish cooking: Cook for 2-3 minutes to meld flavors.
  7. Serve: Serve hot as a side dish or over rice as a main course.
