  • ¾ cup (175 grams) cold plain yogurt (Indian curd)
  • ¾ cup (180 ml) cold milk (or water and/or 4 ice cubes)
  • to 3 tablespoons (18 to 36 grams) sugar, adjust to taste

Additional Ingredients:

  • ¼ teaspoon cardamom powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon chopped nuts (unsalted pistachios)
  • 1 pinch saffron strands
  • 4 tablespoons whipped cream

Instructions

  1. How to make Mango Lassi in a blender

    Skip this step if using canned mango pulp. Rinse the mangoes and chill them for a few hours. Peel and cube them to keep them cold after blending.

  2. Blend Ingredients:

    In a blender, combine mangoes, yogurt, milk (or water/ice), cardamom powder, and sugar. Blend until smooth.

  3. Adjust Consistency:

    Taste test and adjust sweetness or thickness by adding more sugar, milk, ice, or mangoes.
