Ingredients
For the Sauce:
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- Salt & pepper to taste
For Serving:
- Fresh parsley for garnish
- Cooked ravioli or pasta of choice
Instructions
- Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add garlic; cook for 1 minute.
- Stir in crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
- Reduce heat, stir in cream and parmesan. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper.
