Ingredients

For the Sauce:

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 (15 oz) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt & pepper to taste

For Serving:

  • Fresh parsley for garnish
  • Cooked ravioli or pasta of choice

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion until soft, about 5 minutes.
  2. Add garlic; cook for 1 minute.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Reduce heat, stir in cream and parmesan. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Toss the sauce with cooked ravioli or pasta of choice and garnish with parsley.
