This slow cooker BBQ beef recipe is a nostalgic favorite that’s sure to please. Tender chuck roast slow-cooked to perfection, then shredded and smothered in tangy barbecue sauce. Serve it up on soft sub rolls for a delicious meal that’s as easy as it is satisfying.


Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 (3 pound) boneless chuck roast
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle barbeque sauce

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients.
  2. Prepare all the necessary ingredients for the recipe.

  3. Place roast into slow cooker.
  4. Season the chuck roast with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Place it in the slow cooker.

  5. Pour barbeque sauce over meat.
  6. Cover the roast with the barbecue sauce.

  7. Cook on Low for 6 to 8 hours.
  8. Slow cook the beef for 6 to 8 hours.

  9. Remove meat from slow cooker, shred, and return to slow cooker.
  10. Shred the cooked meat and return it to the slow cooker. Cook for an additional hour.
