Ingredients

  • 68 firm apples (Granny Smith or Golden Delicious), peeled, cored, and sliced

Cornstarch Mixture:

  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch

Sugar Mix:

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon

Butter Mixture:

  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare Apples: Peel, core, and slice apples into uniform wedges.
  2. Place apple slices in the slow cooker and sprinkle with cornstarch. Stir to coat evenly.

  3. Mix Sugars and Cinnamon: Add brown sugar, granulated sugar, and cinnamon. Stir gently.
