Ingredients
Cream Cheese Mixture:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 ½ cups freshly shredded mozzarella cheese
- ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 ½ teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Additional Ingredients:
- 5 ounces pepperoni minis
- 14 ounces jarred pizza sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh chopped basil (optional garnish)
For Serving:
- French bread, breadsticks, naan bread, or fresh veggies for dipping
Instructions
- Prepare Cream Cheese Mixture: In a medium bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth using a handheld mixer for about 1-1.5 minutes.
- Combine Ingredients: Add 1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese, parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder to the cream cheese. Mix until well combined.
- Layer in Slow Cooker: Spray the slow cooker with nonstick spray. Spread the cream cheese mixture at the bottom. Top with half of the pepperoni minis, then pizza sauce, remaining mozzarella cheese, and the rest of the pepperoni minis.
- Cook: Cover and cook on low for 3 hours or high for 2 hours. Before serving, garnish with fresh basil. Serve with bread, breadsticks, naan, or veggies.
